Sounds like Bells Palsy - this is a viral infection that can leave your face that way permanently, but with physical and occupational therapy can improve over time. No one is certain why it occurs, but it may be caused by herpes simplex, a virus that causes cold sores, which can be treated with Acyclovir or Valcyclovir.
