I was recently diagnosed with 3 kidney stones, totaling 8mm in size. its been almost 2 weeks with them in the ureter and only 1 small, 1 mm piece has come out . how long can i safely wait without damaging kidneys any further?

You need to be followed by a Urologist. Ureteral stones generally don’t do any harm unless they obstruct urine outflow from the kidney. This can lead to loss of kidney function. Are generally VERY painful when they obstruct but not always. Infrequently, can get obstruction (and damage) without pain. Need to see a Urologist
