Specializes in Pediatrics

Medical Expertise: Each Dr is unique. Their education, training and years in practice all contribute to their expertise. There are more specialist Dr's in urban areas, whereas rural Dr's typically treat a wider variety of illnesses without as much specialist support. to evaluate a potential Dr, look up their credentialing and how many years they have been in practice. Look at Patient reviews and grading.

My experience: Have been thoroughly pleased with many solo practitioners in isolated and rural areas, as they appear in general to compulsively "keep up" and maintain their skills. Have encountered urban physicians who have become arrogant and complacent, so, it takes all types across the board. Usually other doctors are aware of the competence of their colleagues.
