Either...: ... or neither. Might be the same tooth, just getting worse. Why not visit a local dentist, someone who can actually examine you and treat you?

Toothache: As a point of information, statistically the most common cause of toothache is infection (a cavity is an infection). But rather than guessing, follow the advice you have seen here. Make an appointment with your Dentist to be seen as soon as possible.
