Normal infection: Mild fever and cough in a toddler is very common. Continue to give fever reducer but no other meds. Make sure he is drinking lots of fluids, especially electrolyte solutions. His eating might be off, but will resume once this illness passes. See a Dr for Wheezing, severe coughing with throwing up, fever over 39.

Perhaps both: May be both virus and coincidental teething. Call your Pediatrician's office for advice treating the virus. Make your child an appointment with a Dentist, preferably a Pedodontist, a pediatric dental specialist. He's 3 months past due.
