Ive read that head size is proportional to height. my childs in the 97th percentile for height but only 30th for head circumference. is that something to be worried about?

Not really: It's more useful to follow the rate of growth of head. In most of healthy infant, head circumference increases 1/2 inch per month in the first 4 months and 1/4 inch per month for the next 8 months.
