Hi doctors. i had what i was told was tinnitus last week..it feels better, but when i grind my teeth.. don't ask me why..i hear that same squishy tinnitus sound...if i don't grind my teeth..no noise, no problem.. why?

TMJ : Right below your ear and connected to the bone in which it is housed is a very complicated joint with the lower jaw. By 61 years of age you could have had change in the bone of the joint from clenching that may now predispose you to auditory complication from grinding. You may need a guard, so get checked.
