Hello doctors will it be it okay if i get the covid 19 vaccine (johnson and johnson) while i am on antibiotics (macrodatin) for a stubborn uti? will side effects from the vaccine be worse while i'm on the antibiotic?

COVID vaccine : When you go for your vaccination there will be a series of questions regarding your suitability to get the vaccine. It should not be an issue being on a medication like nitrofurantoin for a urinary tract infection. You should be able to receive the vaccine as long as there are no other issues interfering.

Vaccine/Antibiotics: Even while on antibiotics, you can still get the Covid vaccine. There is no contraindication. There should not be any worse side effects. Normal side effects include: slight fever, headache, pain at the injection site, fatigue and mild body aches.
