Flagyl is for trich: 2, 000 mg of Flagyl is the treatment for another sexually transmitted infection known as "trich." it is not the treatment for chlamydia. Azithromycin in a single dose is the usual treatment for chlamydia. For both trich and chlamydia, your boyfriend would need to take the same medicine. So no sex until both treated as a person can get these infections over and over again.
