My husband is 38 and got diagnosed with renal artery thrombosis. all necessary blood test came out normal so we still dont know the cause of the blood clot. he is on eliquis 5mg bid. can eliquis cause high bp in the range of 145/105 usually?

In order for stroke to occur in pregnancy, wouldn't you need a really high blood pressure to break a artery in brain or blood clot to lodge it ?
