I am 49yrs.before 14 days my gfr was 62, urea 5, now gfr is 72, urea is 4 but uric acid is 6.46mg/dl. my a1c is 5.8. controled hypertention 125/80. kidney screening normal ranges. why is uric acid higher? could this whole picture mean beginig of ckd?

No: “Change” in GFR between 62 an 72 is no change at all and within the random fluctuation for this test. However, both 62 and 72 are slightly low for an otherwise healthy 49 year old and should be evaluated by a kidney doctor (Nephrologist)

I am nearly 49 yrs. Creatinin level was 0.66mg/dl 1 year ago. Now its 1.06. Urea always ok. GFR is 62. A1C is borderline 5.8. My pressure is under control with medicaments 130/80, althouth its sometimes +/- elevated. Do I have mild/moderate CKD?
