Black stools for a week without any other accompanying symptoms. stools are hard, not sticky and smells normal. i had blood work 2 months ago and all test results are in normal range (liver&kidney). i only use nasal sprey and antihistamine?

Stool - black stuff : We often associated black stool with digested blood. You are best evaluated by a doctor in person. I also remember a young lady coming to the emergency room with concerns for black stool and it turned out to be blueberry skins.

Need more info: Altered blood in stool needs to be excluded. Your doctor can provide prescription for the test. Have a healthy diet, exercise 30 minutes/day, drink plenty of water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs.
