A member asked:

Is an mri (arthritis-not cancer) considered high risk during the pandemic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not at all: MRI is very safe unless one's body contains ferrous metal, which could be disrupted by the powerful magnet. Contrast may be risky in elderly, and generally should be eschewed. MRI otherwise is not a "high risk" procedure.
