Descriptives: Tinnitus basically is relatively steady noise or sounds emanating from inner ear (although online "experts" selling supplements, claim from the brain). Typically occurs with aging and changes in auditory acuity. Can start after loud noise exposure. Does not easily respond to treatment. Tinnitus masker works but affects hearing. An otolaryngologist can help immensely.
