Hematuria: Blood in urine (hematuria) means that bleeding has occurred in the kidney, bladder or it’s connecting tubes. I suspect you were given blood thinners due to the blood clot and that would be a common reason for the bleed, BUT pathology in kidney/bladder is possible. Do call your treating physician for anti-coagulation modulation and determine if further work up is needed for the bleed.

Painless hematuria: Some of the common causes such as tuberculosis, trauma, tumor, are less likely here as primary issues, but it would take very little trauma in presence of anticoagulation to provoke urinary bleeding. You truly need to have immediate supervision, as your clotting status will need very close re-evaluation. All the best.
