Medications interact: Amitriptyline should NOT be taken with either Zofran or Bonine because it can cause severe side effects including: confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, drowsiness, blurred vision, dry mouth, heat intolerance, flushing, decreased sweating, difficulty urinating, abdominal cramping, constipation.
