If dose related: Medication side effects can be dose related or intrinsic. But doctors provide medication in doses appropriate to the condition. Dropping the dose of an antibiotic can lead to ineffective outcome and even emergence of drug resistant organisms. You should inform your doctor of side effects prior to your altering your medications.
