D/w oncologist: I do not think anybody can answer your question. It would beultimately up to you and your doctor whether you should continue or discontinue your palliative chemo. Discuss with your oncologist and tell your doctor if you want to have a break. Ideally, maintanance chemo is given as long as patient tolerates and as long as the cancer continues to repond to therapy. However, it is also your decision.
