A member asked:

Is intercourse safe during radiation treatments for prostate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Radiation: Sexual intercourse while undergoing external radiation for prostate cancer is deemed safe. However if radioactive seeds are used, a condom should be used as a seed could be displaced, be secreted with the sperm and enter your partners vagina. Radiation may cause urethral irritation and make ejaculation painful.
