Work note: Yes you can call the patient line to discuss the issue that will keep you from work. The doctor can then write the note and you would have access to the note through your medical record right away.

Best: Would be through a community doctor who knows you well. Notes have to include objective evidence of your sickness, such as temperature or heart rate, for example to meet legal standards. Not something that can be done on the free HealthTap platform.
