Irregular bleeding: Irregular bleeding can be caused by hormonal fluctuations especially after pregnancy and delivery. Use of Oral/IM contraceptives can cause menstrual cycles to lengthen or shorten, become heavier or lighter. Talk to your Dr at your next exam, they can keep an eye on your periods and hormone levels. If you are breastfeeding, you should consider a progestin only pill without estrogen.
