Chest tightness : A tight chest is common with COVID 19. Should be evaluated, It you have symptoms with activity such as shortness of breath, dizziness or chest symptoms you should go to the ED. I find that the virus causes irritation/inflammation to the lung tubing (bronchi) and causes the chest tightness . It is common and most often (not always) not a long-term or serious issue.

COVID 19: Tight chest is very common with COVID 19 infections. Whether or not you need to be seen really depends on severity of symptoms. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
