A member asked:

I am having an issue with my foreskin on my penis. the foreskin it self has white patches as if the skin has turned white and there is some tightness in the foreskin?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. If the white patches are on the outside, it could be fungal infection or leukoderma, if the patches are on the inner surface, it may changes on skin structure. Do not force the skin back. It would be prudent to see a doctor and consider circumcision. Wish you good health!

Phimosis = tightness: Normal foreskin should retract easily & important for hygiene & sex. Phimosis can be corrected in some men with application of steroid cream such as 0.1% betamethose valerate applied twice daily to tight area whilst retracting foreskin. Otherwise circumcision surgery will take care of promlem. Prepucioplasty, cutting tight area lengthwise and suturing transversely works for some, but not always.
