Throat irritation : This is a type of question that needs to be addressed in person. Gerd is treated by different means, lifestyle and diet change, with medication, and rarely with surgery.

Pill pocket: There is a normal part of the throat, way behind the tongue, called the vallecula. This is referred to as "pill pocket", as pills commonly get stuck here. Try different ways or positioning the neck with swallowing. ENT specialists can examine this area.
