My wife tested positive for a tick bite after seeking advise from a doctor as she was suffering from a low grade fever and brain fog for three weeks prior to doctors visit. doctor put her on antibiotics however she still feels foggy and has a temp ?

Tick borne illness: Not enough information. There are many types of tick borne diseases. What did she test positive for? Which antibiotic and for how long? Try making a second post and clarify.

Recheck with ID doc: Don’t understand. No test for “tick bite” per se. Lyme? Ehrlichiosis? Anaplasmosis? All possible. Test are often difficult to interpret for many general docs. If still fever and “brain fog” after 3 weeks, you’ll benefit from a specialist evaluation (Infectious Diseases doctor). Best of luck
