My newborn is 4 weeks and there is currently red spots, fine pimples all over her ears, neck, cheeks and this only strayed on friday. please advise on what this could be and if i should be worried and take her in for any treatment. thank you ?

Baby acne. : If you are breastfeeding, she is being exposed to your hormones which can cause a benign self limited rash on her face called baby acne. It is similar but milder than teen acne. Just wash her face with warm water. No moisturizers. It will fade on own in a few more weeks. Needs a doctor visit of it looks bright red or lesions get much larger.

Newborn rash: This is likely one of the common newborn rashes, probably erythema toxicum (the name sounds bad but is normal & benign) (not dangerous). However I would recommend doing a video or in person consult with her doctor as it needs to be seen for a definite diagnosis. Also be sure she is eating well & has no fever
