Normal: Above heart rate is normal. Answer assumes at rest and regular. If on cardiac meds your best reference for goals for your rate will be your treating doc who has knowledge about your medical condition.

Brady: You need an EKG or maybe a 24-hour monitor. The normal heart rate is above 60 and less than 100, but some athletes have a low heart rate. When considering a low heart rate I would be concerned if the patient has shortness of breath, dizziness, loss of consciousness There may we find many things to consider with a low heart rate but in many people extensive testing reveals nothing wrong.
