A 16-year-old female asked:
I'm 16 and i haven't been getting my period for a long time (5 more weeks until one year with no period) i was wondering if this was something bad and if it's fixable or treatable. i used to get it but it started getting irregular and then stopped?

Very treatable: This is not necessarily too bad and is almost certainly treatable but is not normal and deserves evaluation. There are several possible causes. I advise being tested for thyroid issues, improving diet (minimize sugars and avoid GMO foods) and take a good multivitamin. Herbs like Rhodiola may help. See an integrative doctor and consider acupuncture. See https://tinyurl.com/y7a9rjor for more info.
