A member asked:

When i do pushups i sometimes feel a sensation in my forearms that could be explained as electricity or tiny strings snapping. i want to trust it's just the muscle fibers but i also want to be sure it's supposed to feel like that?

Not normal : The sensations you describe are from nerve stimulation. These are NOT normally caused by push-ups, even if performed improperly. The fact that this is ‘felt’ in both forearms suggests a central pathology such as cervical spine. See your doc for an exam including cervical x rays and perhaps a neurological consult as well. Good luck

? nerve: Agree with Dr Simon. Might wonder about nerve pinching at wrist or elbow, but bilateral brachial plexus or neck problems could also explain. Most likely, a search for etiology will lead to reversal of your challenges.
