I am having this tingling and burning sensation in my right thumb, plus muscle spasms on my upper arm and shoulder in same right arm probably out my constant daily push ups. the thumb tingling and burning sensation is a little more constant now?

You likely have developed peripheral nerve problem and would wonder about carpal tunnel syndrome. Since this could also involve brachial plexus, neck, and other areas, it is most efficient to see your doctor, get examined, and decide if an EMG test might be the next step.
