34/f. getting my 1st mri next monday, very anxious. pressure in l. forehead/ temple area & sometimes full forehead (viselike) for 1 month now. dr diagnosed sinus infection in dec, took antibiotics. ent says all clear now. what else can it be?

Head pressure: I feel your symptoms are most characteristic of muscle contraction tension type head discomfort. MRI of the brain can often detect pathology in the paranasal sinuses. If your MRI is normal, I recommend consulting a neurologist for evaluation and advice regarding your head symptoms. Stress management therapy is often very helpful in treatment of tension headaches.
