Hi, my dermatologist ran a thyroid panel. my tsh and t4 came back normal but my total t3 was very high. what could be wrong and is that enough to see an endocrinologist?

Some choices: You do not mention whether you are taking thyroid medication, which could be responsible, and might require adjustment. The testing could be repeated, or expanded based upon the response from your doctors regarding significance of the T3 level. Discuss the next steps, as required. Maybe an endocrinologist is the most efficient route.
