Cough? : The symptoms may indicate an early infection or allergic reaction. COVID 19 should be excluded and is variable in its presentation, but most patients develop fever during the course. Use an over the counter antihistamine, for two days and if improved, allergy testing is indicated. Allergy testing may be ordered. Avoid dust, smoke, pollen and other irritants. Use nasal saline rinses, drink fluids.

Symptoms: There are a number of possible causes for his symptoms. Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher with at least 2 of these sx’s: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.
