I just gave birth 4days ago, due to covid 19. i tested positive, immediately after birth the child was taken to icu because they wanted to thoroughly check the baby. now that i'm okay no more symptoms, is it safe to go home with my baby?

COVID 19 : If you have COVID 19 your child will get it if you are shedding the virus. You are asking a great question which is best answered by asking the doctors you are with now.

Sounds safe to me: Congratultions! This should be decided by your doctors. If you have no more symptoms then you are likely not contagious and even if your baby was infected they usually have few if any symptoms. I strongly recommend you breastfeed your baby. This is always wise but esp. now as you should able to pass protective antibodies to transfer immunity to your baby.
