Time to see doc: You need help for 2 reasons.
1. Your current symptoms- depression, insomnia and headaches that need to be addressed timely in order for you to remain functional
2. Lack of sleep will make you prone to a seizure as it will decrease significantly your seizure threshold.
Start with your pediatrician or GP who knows your medical history best.

? need for meds: Use of anti-epileptic medication should be directed to control of episodes of altered consciousness primarily. Some AED's are employed to prevent migraine headaches and to stabilize emotional disorders. Prior to you attempting to treat yourself, contact your doctor and get some guidance regarding your depression, insomnia, and headaches. Should be straightforwards.
