Frequent urination : I need more information? Are you diabetic? If your finger stick glucose goes over 180 the sugar spills over into the urine causing you to urinate more. If your fasting finger sticks are high, more than 130 you need better-managed diabetes. Frequent urination can be from an infection of the bladder, irritation of the urethra, overactive bladder, or diabetes insipidus.
