3 meals and 2 snacks: A one year old should be able to eat anything that the parents eat, unless they have a known allergy or it is a food that may not be safe for them. The more variety you introduce at an early age, the better it is for your child. Include all the food groups with lot of colors and textures on the plate. Make sure it is safe and they are not allergic to anything.
