Mum has been in hospital 17days with covid and will be released today. does she still need to isolate? i need to give her care, do i also need to quarantine? can she have another test to check if she negative ?

3 conditions: The 3 conditions for leaving quarantine are: No fever for 24 hours without fever reducers, 10 days since symptoms started, and all major symptoms are getting better. If she meets these criteria she is free to interact with others. Avoid too many people, as her body is weak and she can be reinfected by others more easily. A repeat test will probably be positive due to viral remnants being cleared.

COVID 19: I agree with Dr. Kratzberg. Some patient who are quite ill with COVID 19 might be infectious longer than people with milder illness that is treated at home.
