I was exposed to someone with covid-19 and was instruct to quarantine 10 days after i saw that person. today is the 8th day of my quarantine and i found out this morning that my mother and her partner have covid-19. do i need to go for testing?

COVID exposure: Assuming you live in the same household as your mother and her partner, you should be tested. Meanwhile, strongly recommend that you separate yourself as much as possible in the household, including after you are tested, until result is obtained.

COVID 19: In South Africa, you might need to be demonstrating symptoms for testing to be ordered. You will likely need to start a new period of quarantine as you now have had a second exposure to people who are COVID 19 positive.
