Few days now been having a gradual aching pain in back right side next to ear more close to skull. comes and goes every 30 second or few minutes. could it be way i slept or should i be concerned about a tumor or something and go get a scan?

Consider a nerve : The location describes could indicate a focal jaw (TMJ) problem, but also, one could correlate if pain is behind the ear with a problem afflicting the Greater Occipital Nerve. I believe a dentist would be the first one to see.

Would a brain tumor headache make your head sore to touch when pressed? Feel tender spots and intermittent pain in back of head on one side, sometimes goes up to ear and temple. Going on for a year several times a month. Normal neuro exam but no MRI
