I have been in contact with a covid19 positive person, i have no symptoms and they also had no symptoms at the time of contact, should i go get a test or wait for the symptoms?

Exposure to COVID 19: For now, keep isolated. Don't leave a room. Get tested, or keep isolated for at least 14 days. Contact a doctor if you have symptoms

COVID 19: It is recommended that you wait 5 to 7 days after last contact or until you are symptomatic to get COVID 19 testing if you are going to get tested.
