My cousin tested positive for covid19 on 16june2020. i was in contact with her on 15june 2020. should i wait for symptoms to show or just go and test.

COVID 19: Please isolate. The typical incubation period for COVID 19 is 2 to 14 days with a mean of 5 days. If you get symptoms, you can go right away. You would have a higher test of getting a positive result (if you are in fact positive) if you waited a minimum of five days, but even that is not fool-proof. I don't know what the policy is in South Africa.
