A member asked:

Hi doctors! i had an mri of the brain/skull base (which thank god did not find anything serious)! the radiologist did, however report "new complete opacification of the left frontal sinus"-what is done for this? what are the symptoms and treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Focal sinusitis: Your left frontal sinus is, assuming lack of trauma, likely chronically infected. This likely will require medication, and could benefit from nasal rinses (?neti-pot). An otolaryngologist might be needed. Start with your current doctors ASAP.
