I had a sadi-s procedure done in 2017, my psychiatrist has put me on neucon 54mg. it is supposed to be dissolved completely within 8 hours but i feel like 13 hours after taking it, it is still affecting me. could the sleeve be the problem?

Could be but . . .: Normally oral extended release methylphenidate blood levels increase rapidly for 1 hour then continue going up gradually for 5-9 hrs. So highest levels are at 10 hrs. The half life is 2-3 hours. So at 14 hours you still have 40% of the peak level. Predicting changes in the hemodynamics after bariatric surgery has proven difficult with as many reports of lower levels as there are for toxic levels
