I have what seems to be a scratch in my ear canal (from excessive cleaning) that got infected. i have ciprodex drops i started applying 1 day ago. it hurts a little when sleeping on that and a little jaw pain, do i need oral antibiotics also?

Ciprodex : Ciprodex ear drops are adequate to treat superficial infections of the ear canal. This presumes the canal is not visibly swollen, very painful, draining pus or there are no fever or chills.
