A member asked:

Could i have permanently damaged my heart from ongoing anxiety from a concussion 3 weeks ago? my heart rate goes up to 130 when walking in house and 140 when walking up stairs. it is under 100 when resting?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Concussion: A concussion is an acute and self-limited brain injury, and would not affect the heart unless there was trauma to chest at the time of the concussion. Visit a cardiologist, as you might benefit from a Holter monitor study. The tachycardia needs investigation.
