A member asked:

I was diagnosed with a concussion without a ct scan. could a concussion cause high heart rate 2 weeks later? i've also had anxiety for 30 years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rarely needed/yes: Concussions are routinely diagnosed without any x-ray /CT or MRI as they yield little information in most cases. Change in thinking processes, visuomotor (seeing disturbance), change in behavior, alteration in the neck/spine, headaches, heart rate abnormalities & balance problems are all factored into the diagnosis.
