Good morning, i have a month old baby and its seems to me like he is suffering with gas. he was born @36weeks and was in hospital for two weeks due to an under developed tummy. i need assistance on whether i should take him for a check up to the gp?

Some basics: It is common to worry with what you went through. New infants have flabby soft belly muscles & often must fuss/use their breathing muscles to help push food & gas through their gut or poop. This fades when older & the muscles strengthen.The fussing likely bothers you more than the kid. If he feeds ok & is gaining weight you can probably wait. If you can't sleep over this have him seen.
