I think i have appendicitis but,i dont know if its just gas.the pain started this evening first around my belly button then shifting to my right. no fever,no throw up,pain hurts but not a lot.should i go to the hospital or go to bed see if hurts tom?

Some basics: The appendix sits next to the big muscle that moves your right leg forward. If it is inflamed you have pain in the lower right abdomen & often cannot walk standing upright. If jumping up/down on your right leg produces a lot of pain it might be appendix. Urinalysis is often done before surgery as a UTI can rarely mimic the belly pain similar to appendicitis.
