Neutropenia & Vits: Neurophils are a type of white blood cell produced by the bone marrow & important in fighting off many types of infections. Isolated neutropenia (low pmn) can be do to various causes, some of which are benign. There is not a....: Vitamin that specifically neutrophil production. A balanced diet with vitamins and nutrients is necessary to make all kinds of cells, not just neutrophils. Is your neutropenia a constitutional problem (ie. A part of who you are and have always been) or an acquired thing. If the latter you will likely recover counts spontaneously. Talk to your dr. With specific concerns about your neutropenia.
